Using your building cabling to provide a network

The idea behind over power installations is to allow you to utilise your existing power cables as network cables. The big benefit of this is that you do not have to drill holes and install cables throughout your office in order to achieve connectivity; it was already done when electrical sockets were installed.

Whether you use it to hook up a printer in another room, move your wireless router away from your ADSL/Cable modem or connect an isolated PC, or other network enabled device to your network, over power installations work as easily and reliably as if you were just connecting the two points with a simple network cable.
